Nostalgia

WWW ,the three words have brought the world within a mouse click . Internet not only is a source of information ,e-commerce tool etc.. but I just found out it as an entity an intangible one albeit ,that acts as an reminiscent tool ..

By reminescence , I mean it brings back your dirty and glorious past .Orkut is y I am writing this one ,was browsing through the profiles of my school mates ,I would not like to mention school friends here as ,I donot know as to whether I had done enough in my bygone days to evolve my relationships with these individuals into a friendship .Neverthless I am a helpless mortal against the Einstein's fourth dimension ,hence instead of pondering about my so called not so glorious era ,where in the victories were less and the lossess huge ,so huge that I am still reeling under its effects, what is with this word effects ,I am seldom correct with its usage ,not sure if this one is the right one either...

Nostalgia ..a very powerful word I must say , it stings you like hell ,pierces your skin
through your epidermis into your veins and into the blood and then the heart that pumps it
across your body through the bloody aorta ; and before you know every single cell of your
body is in a neuralgic state. How good or bad is it ??

Bad ones first :
1.It makes us feel miserable and for some to the extent of committing a heinous crime called
suicide.
2.We are in a state of what if ? we start repenting as to what should have been done and
what wasn't done .
3.brings back the missed out chances ,both on a proffessional and personal front
.Proffessional bcos in a country like India hardly 10% of the PUC(pre university chaps) get
what they had set out for and personally because hardly 1% of the genre gets the person of
his/her dreams.
The list might be end less for a looser ,and I dont want to be one :) .

Good ones :
Although the bad ones out number the good ones yet it is the aura of the good ones that
overpowers the darker ones .
1. It touches the innocence .i believe that chastity of an individual is battered each time
he comes in contact with a vagrant society of individuals .
2.Makes us laugh at our foibles .
3.For the ones who have made a dramatic improvement in their mortal self ,would like to
juxtapose the past and the present .
One important question that always haunts me is ... Why on earth do we try to impress our
long lost friends after a hiatus ? Has it got to do with the imperfections with which we are
born with and want to show how we ahev overcome a few of them ?? or some thing else
After all we are what we are and the shell is bound to bust up once the kernel fails

Probably I am heading towards a spiritual enlightenment :)

One reason to live !!

The title itself might sound pessimistic on the outset but the content isn't . It is an out&out optimistic blog .

Was pondering about the various ways in which one could die .Starting from the very basic:

1.What if the earth got displaced from its orbital position due to an inadvertent collision ? It does not seem to be a distant possibility owing to the fact that we are a speck in a maculated universe.
2.What if the sun got displaced due to a centifugal spin of a large integral mass chunk?

Now the "earthly matters":
1.What if the stratos went blank one day ?
2.What if the ozone got depleted to deleterious extents ?

these are justa few insane what if's ,but they are not events with a zero probability ...

We are such a small identity in this universe with absolutely nothing in our hands ...one crazy meteor strike and BOOM ,gone ,one devastating earthquake and gone ...

How fortunate have we been to have an existence in this universe ,in the milky way,in the solar system ,on the only planet amongst 9( unupdated data) to have a life ,to be born on a land which is just 30% approx of the whole mass ,out of which 15% is rendered inhabitable due to nature's vagaries , the list goes on ... What does all this mean "WE are god damn lucky" ...

There is a 99.99% probability that some thing bad would happen ,but it is the 0.01% that gives life a 100% probability .
Probably I am sounding a bit too philosophical ,but being lonely makes one so ... :)
hope my next one would be a delectable one ...

We the People !!

Change is consistent ...The previous title Woah CAT was ludicrous ,but this is something which I totally believe in .
Democracy rules...
Demos- People
Cracy-Rule
A rule by the people ,i.e a popular opinion .every facet of life is ruled by democracy . Take for instance the choice of profession we take , it is a popular opinion of the parents ,when you are shopping for something it is a popular opinion of your thinking brain cells ,take for instance your life partner it is a popular opinion of your heart cells ... the list is endless .Nature is replete with such instances ,then why the hell do we need any other form of governance ?? Pessimists could slander the democratic perspective ,but the fact remains "In Every Success there is a democratic principle involved ".These thoughts have sprawned because of my latest insights into the 9/11 reports . Had there been a democratic extremist outfit it would not have hit the twin towers .

Indian democracy is a living example of success despite its severe short comings , where else can u have a country full of corrupt politicians and still have an economy that rolls on and on . It is due to the spirit of people ,where in every person believes he can make a difference. As Thomas Friedman truly says ,"You know you are looking down a barrel when your system offers your just memories and no dreams"We have had our share of pits and falls but the amazing thing about our system is the resilience it offers ,we are not curbed by any rule by a lunatic .Just imagine how tough it would be if some psycho came to power and instigated a rule which prohibits us from starting an enterprise that fails once ...

All said and done ,Men (Women included :) ) are born free ... and should live and die so .By death I get an other thought , we have a thousand reasons to die but a single reason to live ...Probably this would be my next one ...
